It's safe to say, most people in the US haven't experienced a hurricane! This would likely be one of the main deterrent why some people decide to retire, get a j.o.b, or just plain move elsewhere. This problem is largely solved with hurricane resistant homes and a trip to Disney!

It's not so much the concept of a category 5 wind-resistant home, but the technology and materials used in construction.

Another builder, Crown Signature Homes out of Tampa, FL is also proving to be a top candidate for these homes. It's not so much the concept of a category 5 wind-resistant home, but the technology and materials used in construction. In some homes this technology also provides added bonuses to the construction; mold/mildew resistant, fire retardant features (not to be mistaken with fire resistant), termite/insect retardant, and not to mention living inside a "safe" like home with the appearance of a conventional home!

These technologies will also start to take shape in the commercial market. So business owner's not stricken by location and wanting to relocate their business to Florida, now have every reason to do so. As far as Disney is concerned, I think there not going anywhere!
